Operation Tipsy Tow in Helena for New Years

Posted: Updated:

Well New Years Eve is tomorrow and many will be out and about celebrating the arrival of the New Year, AAA Mountain West wants to make sure everyone is smart when it comes to driving on this holiday, as they are offering a little help to those in the Helena area.

Operation Tipsy Tow is offered in the city limits of Helena, East Helena, and Montana City up until January 2nd. The free service is provided by AAA, Montana City Automotive, and J & D Towing. Once you have notified a service representative they will tow your vehicle up to 10 miles, instead of you risking the drive yourself. AAA has sponsored this program since 2005 and it is free and confidential, just simply call 800-AAA-HELP.

"It is important to keep in mind that some basic things are always great to do so one of them would be please do not drive impaired, there are so many great programs out there to keep you from having to make that decision. Tipsy Tow is one of them that AAA does." said Kaelyn Kelly from AAA Mountain West.
