College Application Week a "Great Success" in Montana

From November 11th-15th, seniors in participating high schools around the state had the opportunity to apply for Montana colleges and universities for free all a part of the first ever College Application Week here in Montana and the turnout deemed a success.

Superintendent Denise Juneau and Governor Steve Bullock launched College Application Week back in November to give students across Montana the opportunity to apply to college for free for one week. A total of 80 schools across Montana participated, with a total of 1,773 applications submitted. The Office of Public Instruction partnered with The Office of the Commissioner of Higher Educations Montana GEAR UP program to encourage more students to seek post-secondary education, for being the first year of this program The Office of Public Instruction is calling it a "Great success".
