Rehberg Contemplating Run

Posted: Updated:

This time one year ago former U.S. Rep. Denny Rehberg said he would not run for political office.  What a difference one year makes, as he is considering a political comeback with a potential House campaign in 2014.

The former six term House Republican saying he is keeping his options open and he thinks he has a lot to offer.
Rehberg left the seat he held for an attempt to unseat U.S. Senator Jon Tester in 2012.
After that, he became a Co-Chairman of a Washington-based public strategy firm called Mercury Public Affairs and he says he and his wife are opening a Burger King in Billings.
Rehberg says several people started contacting him to ask him if he would consider running for his old seat.
Four Republicans have announced their candidacy for the House seat, which U.S. Rep. Steve Daines is vacating to run for Senate.
