Welcome back to The Weather Chef.  Today, we have a great cookie recipe on tap.  It's got a funny name, but don't worry, it doesn't have a funny taste.  It tastes fantastic.  We're baking Snickerdoodles.

2 t Cream of Tartar
1 t Baking Soda
1 Stick of Butter
½ Cup Shortening
1 ¾ Cups Sugar
2 T Cinnamon
2 Eggs

Preparation:

1) Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
2)Sift/whisk together flour, cream of tartar baking soda.  Set aside.
3) In a separate bowl, mix together butter, shortening and 1 ½ cups of sugar until fluffy.
4) Add eggs and combine.
5) Add dry ingredients and mix.
6) In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and ¼ cup sugar.
7) Make small balls out of the dough and roll them the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
8) Place the dough balls on a cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
9) Baking 10 minutes until the cookies are cracked but not brown.
