Abramson Credits Teammates, Hard Work for 51 Point Outburst

Posted: Updated:

UGF's Lindsey Abramson says she had never scored close to 51 points before doing so in the Argos win last Saturday at Rocky Mountain.

It's been a whirlwind since then for the Junior forward, who's had to deal with several media requests. That happens when you break the programs single game scoring record, and win National Player of the Week honors.

Abramson isn't letting it go to her head, at all. She was the last one, by a long stretch, to leave the gym after practice on Wednesday and credits her accomplishment to good teamwork... and lots of hard work.

"51 wouldn't have happened with out all of my teammates and without all the put backs, so the hard work is finally paying off," Abramson says. "I was a little down the night before because I had such a bad game against Dickinson and talked to some people, then prayed about it and everything, and had a way better game the next night."

Watch Abramson and the Argos in action at home this weekend. Thursday night the Argos host Carroll and on Friday, Westminster is in town.

Mill's father recently purchased a brand new washer and dryer for her to help with convenience. The plan was to pick the...

A sink hole in an alley on 18th Street N and 3rd Ave N  has grown to the size of a compact car in nearly 48 hours, and the crazy part is the alley was paved just last week. We were told the hole was only about 6 inches deep last night by the city. By this morning, it had measured about 9 inches deep. Thankfully repairs have already started on the hole. Neighbors say this was caused by a sewer repair project that started a while ago. The construction crew completed the project j...
