MISSOULA -

Members of the Missoula Businesswomen's Network are preparing for their annual Women's Symposium in two weeks.

The M.B.N. was established in 1985 to encourage professional women to exchange ideas, experiences and develop relationships. The goal of this organization's symposium is to educate, network and promote local business.

At the regularly scheduled M.B.N. meeting today, members discussed this year's keynote speaker Fawn Gerner. Gerner is a four-time, prize-nominated journalist and best selling author.

Christine Johnson, the Symposium Co-chair says that,  "We hope they walk away feeling empowered, and hopefully making a few more friends, a few more business contacts, and having a place to go and brainstorm."
