A Man Faces Second Degree Murder In Court Today

Posted: Updated:

A 50 year old Brockton man faces the charge of second degree murder for allegedly stabbing a 21 year old man to death over the weekend.

David Lewis was arrested Saturday morning when the body of Armon Boyd was found at his house. Officials says Boyd's family had reported him missing on Friday night.

Lewis made his initial appearance in federal court, in Great Falls on Tuesday. U.S. Magistrate Judge Keith Strong decided not to unseal an affidavit with details about the case, because he agreed with the defense attorney's argument that doing so would make it difficult to find an unbiased jury if the case went to trial.
