Man Charged With Felony

Posted: Updated:
GREAT FALLS -

A Great Falls man was in the Cascade County Courthouse today for his initial appearance as he is facing a felony charge.

James Manco faces a felony charge of assault with a weapon. Manco's charge stems from an incident that reportedly took place last night in which he reportedly pointed a gun at a female while trying to break up an altercation between two females.  According to court documents, the two females were fighting and that after he separated the two, he allegedly pushed the two down the stairs.  Manco reportedly has denied pointing the gun at anyone, but made everyone aware that he indeed had a gun.

Manco's bond was set at $2500 dollars. Manco has no known criminal history and is expected to return to active duty in the air force.
