2 Car Accident Cause Traffic Jam

GREAT FALLS -

The Montana Highway Patrol was called out to a crash on 15th Street Northeast. A little after 12:30 this afternoon a SUV going north on 15th Street Northeast struck another car that failed to wait for the coast to be clear before pulling out into traffic. The accident happen at the intersection of 25th Avenue Northeast and 15th Street Northeast right next to the Fleet Supply store here in Great Falls.

"Yeah, basically the vehicle on the through highway was north bound on 15th Street here and a vehicle on a side street failed to yield right of way. The sun was causing some sight issues, entered the intersection and a 2 vehicle, non-injury vehicle crash occurred," says Trooper Daniel Arnold.

According to Montana Highway Patrol the driver of the vehicle that failed to yield to traffic and caused the accident will be receiving a citation and even though both cars had airbags deployed there was no serious injuries to any occupant of either car.
