BOZEMAN -

A Belgrade man is being held at the Gallatin County Detention center after allegedly raping and sexually assaulting an underage girl then being caught with drugs.

Alex Jesse Davis, 20, is charged with sexual intercourse without consent and sexual abuse of children for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl who he met through Facebook.

"He obtained her cell phone number from that Facebook page," said Christopher Gregory, Gallatin County Deputy Attorney. "According to detectives, her Facebook page also had her age listed."

Court documents state Davis then asked the girl to send him nude photos.

"She eventually sent those pictures to him. Then, he started to ask her to have sex with him. She repeatedly told him that he did not want to," said Gregory.

The girl told investigators, Davis then began pressuring the girl to have sex with him. She repeatedly said she did not want to.  But last Friday, she agreed.

Davis picked her up from Belgrade High School then took her to an empty parking lot.

Court documents state, the two then went back to his house.  The girl told police she did not want to go with him, but was too afraid to say anything.

When Davis drove the girl back to school, she reported it to a school counselor. She was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital where she spoke to law enforcement. Police then obtained a search warrant for Davis' home.

"They found a number of full grown and baby marijuana plants in both bedrooms and the hall closet," said Gregory.

Davis was also charged with manufacturing dangerous drugs by accountability for the more than 20 marijuana plants found in his home. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.

Davis' roommate, Lance White also appeared in Gallatin County Justice court on Tuesday on a felony charge of criminal manufacture of dangerous drugs. His bail was set at $10,000.
