The Great Falls Animal Shelter is Holding an Adoption Promotion this January

Posted: Updated:
GREAT FALLS -

The Great Falls Animal Shelter is celebrating January 24th, also known as Change a Pet's Life Day, with an adoption promotion.

The promotion starts today and runs through the 31st. Those looking to adopt will only have to pay $25. This small fee will save you hundreds of dollars in the long run, and will also get your new pet spayed or neutered, along with all of its vaccines. This low cost, however didn't just come out of no where. There are a few local groups who made it all possible. Laura McElhinney, from the animal shelter told us, "It is covered through the Shelter Sidekick. The Volunteer Program helps cover those costs. Our Guardian Angel Fund helps cover those costs. And all those are, the funds are created through generous donors in the community."

And while there is a great selection of dogs, Laura says they are always overloaded with cats. All of which could really use a good home. If your interested please stop by the Great Falls Animal Shelter, located at 1010 25th Ave. NE.
