Sheriff Edwards Plans to Run for Sheriff Again

GREAT FALLS -

Cascade County Sheriff and Coroner Bob Edwards says he is going to run for another term to help balance the Sheriffs budget. According to the incumbent Sheriff, the Cascade County Sheriffs Office was in a small debt leading up until four years ago when Sheriff Edwards and his team of Deputies balanced the budget.

"One of the first things I need to do and I am confident we can do it is help build the reserves at the Sheriffs Office. We did erase a 1.4 million dollar debt, but now our goal is to put the 16% into the reserves that the commission requires. We got a little ways to go on that, but I'm confident with my team that we can get there," says Sheriff Edwards.

Now Sheriff Edwards is seeking a second term to continue the work that he started in term one. Sheriff Edwards says he is confident he can pay back the City Commission what the Cascade County Sheriff Department owes in full.
