SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho - UPDATE: At this hour we're awaiting the autopsy results, we'll post more details when we get them.

PREVIOUS STORY:

The grandmother of Dylan Parker told KHQ Local News Reporter Gabe Cohen on Tuesday that Dylan's body was found along Two Mile Gulch Road, just north of the home where he was last seen on January 11th.

The grandmother said 2 people on ATVs were looking for Dylan on Monday night when one of the ATVs wrecked. On Tuesday, those searchers went back to the scene of the crash to retrieve the ATV and found Dylan's body there. The grandmother didn't have any information on how Dylan may have died. The grandmother also stated that Dylan's family doesn't want to make a statement at this time.

The Shoshone County Sheriff's Office issued a press release just after 5:00pm on Tuesday confirming that the body found Tuesday morning was in face Dylan Parker. Their investigation will now focus on finding the cause of death and trying to determine how Dylan reached that location. The release stated that an autopsy will be conducted in the next few days.
