Roe vs. Wade Anniversary Rally

Posted: Updated:

Last night pro choice supporters celebrated the 41st anniversary of a Supreme Court ruling, the one that made abortion legal, Roe vs. Wade case.

In remembrance of this case NARAL Pro Choice Montana held a rally in Downtown Helena with other pro-choice supporters. This included guest speaker Jon Tester. For them last night's event not only served as a day to celebrate, but also a reminder of the work that still needs to be done.

"Impossible for women things like twenty week abortion laws, over turning buffer zone laws, defunding clinics, forced ultra sounds, longer waiting periods, person initiatives, parental consent laws, and on and on and on. The goal of these initiatives is to make abortion so difficult to obtain." said Executive Director Maggie Moran.
