Carroll Men's Basketball Conference Winning Streak Snapped

Posted: Updated:
HELENA -

Following their first win in the Frontier Conference in almost a year, Coach Carson Cunningham and the Carroll men's basketball team looked to turn the win into a streak with a victory of Western Montana.

The game started off all Saints as they jumped out to an early 8-2 lead only five minutes into the game.

That lead wouldn't last long, however, as Western went on a six minute, 13-0 run to take the lead 15-8. It was a lead Carroll would never erase.

Carroll was within eight with five minutes left in the second half but would end up losing this one 64-51.

Carroll will play their next game at Lewis-Clark State next Thursday at 7:30 PM.
