Carroll Saints Track and Field Team Honored

HELENA -

Following another great weekend at the Idaho Open for the Carroll college track and field team, the Saints had three athletes recognized for their achievements over the weekend.

David Thor, Rhianna Grossman, and two-time defending national champion Easton Padden were all recognized as athletes of the week in their respective events. This is the second week in a row that Carroll has had three athletes recognized with such an honor.

The early success of his team doesn't surprise new head coach Harry Clark.

"Yeah exactly, a team. We have a full team. It's not just distance crew, sprint crew, jump crew. Beaugh Meyer also qualified for nationals in the shot put, 52.4 so we have them all over the place. We have multis this weekend we're pretty excited about that," said Clark.
