Former Flathead Brave Will Compete in Super Bowl

Posted: Updated:

One of the greatest quarterbacks to ever come out of the treasure state will be backing up Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl on Sunday. Brock Osweiler, a Flathead High School product, will compete in the biggest stage in sports nearly two years after being drafted.

"To be able to say that I'm from the great state of Montana," said Osweiler. "I take great pride in that."

Osweiler initially committed to Gonzaga for basketball but then decided to go to Arizona State for football. During his senior year at Flathead he was named the Montana Gatorade Player of the Year after passing for over 2500 yards and 29 touchdowns.
