Super Bowl is Pizza Huts' Big Day

GREAT FALLS -

Food is on everyone's mind with the Super Bowl being the second largest food holiday of the year.

While America prepares to watch the most popular football game of the year, local pizza hut workers get up extra early to try and get ahead of the game.

"Yeah pretty much the busiest day of the year just about," explains Pizza Hut Manager, Jen Shultz.

The day may start early at Pizza Hut, but that doesn't mean it will end early,

"Well it's not even noon and I have already been here for about 4 hours and a half hours and the game doesn't start for another 4 and a half hours and we'll be prepping probably up till it starts," says Shultz.

Nationally Pizza Hut predicts they will sell over 2 million pizzas across the US, due to their major sales.

"yeah we have Super Bowl specials that people can call in and ask for and we have all kinds of specials and they can get on line and have all kinds of other in store specials," says Shultz.

Local Pizza Hut Manager, Jen Shultz says in terms of pizza order there is nothing that stands out for most sold.

"You don't have like one specific type that you are filling a lot, you might have large, mediums, thins, pans, hand tossed, stuffed crust," says Shultz.

So then what is the most popular item for this year?

"The wings are going to clobber us," says Shultz.
