Great Falls Man Charged with Burglary for Breaking into Home of Ex-Girlfriend

Posted: Updated:

A Great Falls man was arrested Friday night after breaking into the home of his ex-girlfriend.

Great Fall police say Paul Laverdure and two other males broke into the home of Laverdure's ex girlfriend Friday night around 11:30 PM.

The ex-girlfriend was not home at the time of the break in, but a neighbor called police.

The two other males were detained outside of the home but the Great Falls police say a K-9 unit was required to remove Laverdure from the house.

The GFPD says some windows in the house were broken but they are still investigating other damages to the house and missing property.

Laverdure was arrested and charged with a felony count of burglary and misdemeanor counts of obstruction of a peace officer and criminal mischief.
