Bowser Brewery is Getting Ready For N. Y. Competition

GREAT FALLS -

Bowser Brewing Company is getting ready to join a national competition that could bring more attention to the electric city's brewing capabilities. From a study done by Technomic back in 2012 to 2013 beer sales in the U.S. have climb to a 6 billion dollar industry. Owner of Bowser's Brewery Even Bowser says he is bringing recondition to the city of great falls adding to those statistics.

"We're not looking to expand or go national, that's not something we would be interested in. but if we do start winning some of these nationally recognized awards it would really get some attention for Great Falls," says Bowser.

He's specifically talking about the National Imperial IPA Championships in Buffalo, New York. And just days away the crew at Bowser Brewing Company are preparing like champs.

"We just found out first round our Indy Pale Lager is going to have to go up against Red Hook Long Hammer IPA and our Electric city IPA is going up against Big Dog Brewing company and they have won it a few years," says Bowser.

Bowser is sending four of his finest beers to go head to head with some nationally recognized competition.

"Drinking a lot of beer but no we brewed all 4 of these beers in the past couple of months and they have slowly been coming on tap, just 2 days ago we put the double IPA and Nosfratu on and so all four beers that are in competition are now on tap in the Tap Room and were following out all the beers today, we got to bottle them and ship them out," says Bowser.

Should Bowser Brewing Company win this competition this small brewery could not only put Great Falls on the map, but you might start seeing Browser in your local grocery store.

"You know after the great American Beer Festival we have got a lot of interest from distributors and stuff outside of the state. we just sent away a couple growlers of our smooth honey ale to Heineken in New York," says Bowser.
