Kevin Briggs Captured in Portland, OR.

The hunt for a Montana fugitive wanted by the FBI has come to an end.

Kevin Briggs who was wanted by the FBI on several charges was reportedly found and apprehended in Portland, Oregon. 

Briggs is a felon, a registered sex offender, and has been accused of assaults against a woman and a police officer.

The pursuit for Briggs began when he escaped from the Bozeman jail several weeks ago.

Since he was considered armed and dangerous, the U.S. Marshals had been on the look out for Briggs all along the West coast.

Friday around 6:45 PM Briggs was spotted as a passenger in a van in Oregon. He was quickly arrested without incident.

Currently, Briggs is in a Portland detention center waiting to be transported back to Montana.
