Crime Stoppers Fugitives Includes Animal Cruelty Suspect

Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest released their latest list of wanted fugitives on Wednesday.

Among the list of fugitives is one name you may recognize: Jan Hickerson. Hickerson is wanted on 2 warrants for animal cruelty. Hickerson owns a piece of property in Airway Heights where SCRAPS seized nearly 90 horses in 2013. In July, 25 horses were seized, and more recently in November 63 horses were taken from the property, 11 of them in critical condition. Hickerson has not been seen since the horses were seized.

Jeffrey Hickerson is also wanted for 1st Degree Animal Cruelty.
  • Jan Hickerson has 2 warrants for Animal Cruelty 1st Degree (Physical Pain/Death), Theft of Livestock 2nd Degree and Misdemeanor Physical Control of a Vehicle Under the Influence. She is a 48-year-old W/F, 5’6”, 210 lbs, has blond hair and blue eyes.
  • Jeffrey Hickerson is a 65-year-old W/M wanted for Animal Cruelty 1st Degree (Physical Pain/Death). He is 6’5”, 230 lbs, has brown hair and hazel eyes.
The three other fugitives on the list are:
  • Christopher Somma is a 25-year-old W/M wanted for Bail Jumping and Residential Burglary. He is 5’10, 200 lbs, has brown hair and blue eyes.
  • Cody Burgess is a 22-year-old W/M wanted for Theft 1st Degree and Minor in Possession of Liquor. He is 5’10”, 205 lbs, has blond hair and blue eyes.
  • Jamze West is a 23-year-old W/M wanted for Burglary 2nd Degree. He is 5’10”, 165 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes.
Crime Stoppers fugitives are wanted criminal suspects who are avoiding capture by police. This makes them potentially dangerous, and they should only be contacted by law enforcement professionals.
