Bozeman Hotel Explosion Latest

Posted: Updated:

Investigators say the man arrested in Bozeman yesterday on a probation violation may be a person of interest in Tuesday night's explosion at a Bozeman Hotel.

26 year-old Devon Arnaud was charged in Callatin County Justice Court yesterday after he was arrested during the investigation.

Sheriffs say a small meth lab exploded at the Continental Motor Inn on East Main in Bozeman.

Missouri River Drug Task Force Commander Jake Wagner says it is not unusual to see small meth labs in Gallatin County.  He added "we have responded to numerous meth labs over the last few quarters within the task force.  We get a lab a two a quarter.  Labs in Montana tend to be sicical.  We'll see a few then there will be a few months and no lab."

Wagner says it's not clear how many people may be involved in the meth lab.  He says the investigation is on-going and they are continuing to identify suspects in the case.
