Cascade of Talent Hits Great Falls

GREAT FALLS -

Here at the Mansfield center at the 9th annual Cascade of Talent, talent show that brings forth students from all a crossed Montana actually, even further than Cascade County to participate in a competition of talent.

"Like every year its a whole different verity of kids doing different talents and they are just amazing," explains coordinator, Paulette Walter.

Musicians, dancers and singers take the stage in this Great Falls tradition which highlights the talents of middle school and high school students, students like dancer Ethan Newman.

"I have done it for the past few years, it's an opportunity to perform and get, kind of not really our name out but it's an opportunity for our studio to be performing because our competition season is coming up so it's just a good starter for us to perform for people," says Newman.

Being physically impaired does not stop little Anthony Cox who is blind but has been practicing hard determined to showcase his singing talent.

"Mostly just singing,"answers Cox.

For others competing getting this far in the competition was a matter of being discovered just like Brooke Vermeulen.

"Well actually I have done amazing grace I don't know what song it was but we had done it at my school for the talent show and our teacher told us about Cascade of Talent," says Vermeulen.

These are only a few of the many acts from this years Cascade of Talent. Each act is judged and a winner gets crowned most talented. According to long time supporters the Uptown Optimist Club the talent keeps getting better and better.
