Lady Argos, Carroll Saints Ousted from Frontier Conference Playoffs

Both the UGF Lady Argos and the Carroll Saints lost their Frontier Conference Playoff quarterfinal game.

The #5 seed UGF Lady Argos fell to #4 Montana Western, 63-61 on Monday night. The Lady Argos reached the field of 6 for the first time in program history but were bounced in the first round after a heartbreaking loss on the road in Dillon.

With the win, #4 Montana Western will now hit the road and play top seed Westminster.

Meanwhile, the #6 seed Carroll Saints fell 58-47 in Havre to #3 seed MSU-Northern. The Skylights will now move to the semi-final and will travel to play #2 seed LC-State.

    Just after 6:30 P.M. Tuesday evening, multiple agencies were called to reports of a wildland fire east of the Great Falls Shooting Complex, near Morony Dam Road.  According to scanner traffic, Black Eagle Volunteer Fire Department, Sand Coulee Volunteer Fire Department, and Gore Hill Volunteer Fire Department were all paged to respond.  Just before 7:00 P.M., a second page was called off.
