Gallatin County Sheriff's Department says the man who escaped from the Law and Justice Center will return to Bozeman sometime this month.

Kevin Anthony Briggs walked away from the center on February 1st, prompting a multi-state search and internal review.

Two officers, Lucas Chaffins and Tracy Senefelder, are now being suspended from the department for two weeks without pay.

Briggs was captured weeks after the escape in Portland, Oregon and is facing four felony charges, including attempted rape.

Due to security concerns, the exact date of Brigg's transfer can not be released.
