Many Turn Out for Funeral of Teen Killed in Car Accident

Posted: Updated:

It was a very difficult day for the community and especially the Sipes family.

On Wednesday, the family laid to rest their daughter, Samantha, who was tragically killed in a car accident on Vaughn Frontage road last Thursday.

The streets and parking lots around the Rock Solid Bible Church were overflowing with cars as family and friends gathered to pay their final respects to Samantha Sipes. Many were dressed, not just in black, but also purple in honor of Sipes because purple had been her favorite color, according to those close to her. Through tears, Sipes' friends told us last week that they will miss her warm personality and dazzling smile the most.

In addition to family and friends, many law enforcement officials, such as Montana Highway Patrol troopers and police were also in attendance. One police officer even brought purple flowers in memory of Sipes.
