St. Patrick's Day Parade

GREAT FALLS -

The city of Great Falls has gone green today as folks line the streets getting ready for the annual St. Patrick's day parade. and there is one thing guaranteed is that great falls loves its St. Patrick's Day Parade.

"It's going to be 50 something entries one of the biggest ones we have had in a long time and mother nature has cooperated with us and it has for quite a while for the last decade," explains Parade Official, Jerry Boland.

This years parade has brought back several past favorite floats and even added some new faces.

"We have a great choir entry from Great Falls Central High School, we have got some old favorites that are still in, the Shrine Pipers, their an annual favorite. the Montana Shamrockers from Polson, Montana and several new families are in it," says Boland.

Not just the people coming to the parade, but the downtown businesses love the amount of people the parade brings in.

"You know the people enjoy and a lot of the businesses, the Celtic Cowboy and the City Bar, they really go all out for the parade as do the merchant downtown," says Bruce Cusker.

New and old aside folks and businesses both go all out for the Irish parade.
