HELENA -

An order of nuns at the Ursuline Academy in St. Ignatius are asking a federal judge to postpone the sexual abuse lawsuit that was filed in 2011,

The lawsuit was already delayed by district judge Jefferey Sherlock after the diocese and ursulines filed bankruptcy protection in connection to a $15 mil settlement proposal. The judge combined the proceedings of both lawsuits with a total of 362 victims who filed. The ursulines argue the diocese are needed for the case to "properly proceed."
