17th Annual Montana State High School Powerlifting Championships

Posted: Updated:

On Saturday, the Montana state high school powerlifitng championships took place in Great Falls. Powerlifters from all over the state came to compete and show off their strength and technique in a variety of lifts such as dead lift, squat and of course, bench press.

This was the 17th annual event and everyone involved enjoyed the opportunity to come together and show the strength not only of themselves but together as high school kids from the state of Montana.

"The event's very nice. I love how it brings so many schools together and we're not really booing kids from other schools. If somebody is struggling we cheer them on and if they do well then we cheer them on like good for them, that's great and I love that it brings the whole state together," said CMR Rustler Chase Schott.
