The victim, was a thirty-five year old woman from Livingston. The death occurring Friday night in a one vehicle rollover accident according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
According to MHP, the woman's car drifted off the side of U.S. Highway 287 near Mile Marker 99 at approximately 10:40pm. Authorities saying her vehicle overcorrected and crossed into the northbound lane in which the vehicle then spun out of control and rolled over. The driver was wearing her seatbelt incorrectly.
MHP says speed was not a factor, but continue to investigate as it is unknown if alcohol played a role. The woman's name has not been released. We will update you with more information as soon as it becomes available.
