SPOKANE, Wash. -

Spokane Police are investigating another robbery that happened on Tuesday night on the South Hill.

Officers say at around 8:15pm, a man with olive skin walked into the Sunny Buns Tanning Salon on E. 27th
behind the Lincoln Heights Shopping Center, pulled out a gun and demanded cash. Once he received money he ran from the store, and despite police setting up a K9 track, they did not find him.

Right now the only description we have of the man is that he had olive skin, and he was about 5'7" with a medium plus build.

If you have any information on this robbery or any of the 11 robberies to happen in the past few weeks, please call Crime Check at 456-2233.

RIVERSIDE, Wash. - The severe windstorm which blew through the inland northwest on Wednesday, July 23rd with some wind gusts reaching 60 miles per hour, caused mass destruction and the largest power outage since the ice storm of 1996. Dozens of trees snapped or completely uprooted onto homes, cars and property in Spokane and surrounding areas, however, one community north of Spokane was really hit the hardest.
