Pre-Release Center Turns 30 Years old

The Great Falls Transition Center is celebrating 30 years of service to the electric city with an anniversary party. Great falls Pre-Release Services Transition Center turns 30 and they have invited two well known people involved in Montana Corrections as guest speakers which will be Montana Department of Corrections Director Mike Batista and Montana Attorney General Tim Fox. The Great Falls Pre-Release Services provides a cost-effective alternative to placing people who don't have to go to prison.

"There is a lot of great work that goes on here at the Great Falls Pre-Release Center. And 30 years of that work has really been good for the community and the people who live here and so it's an honor to be invited to come and help celebrate with all the fine people that make these things happen," says Attorney General Tim Fox.

The Transition Center has been operating in Great Falls since 1984 and has gone through several changes and additions to it's campus since opening up all those years ago.
