Entertainment Update: Friday March 28th

Posted: Updated:

Cyrus is twerking her way into the syllabus, Stephen Colbert is criticized for racial insensitivity and Baldwin goes behind the scenes in this Entertainment Update.

Alec Baldwin may have retired from "public life," but that's not keeping him from working. The actor has signed on to executive produce a documentary about the openly-gay former congressman, Barney Frank, to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April.

Students attending New York's Skidmore College this summer will be twerking hard for course credits. The school announced it's adding "The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender and Media" to its list of classes. And sorry, kids, Miley's signature move isn't on the syllabus.

Will Comedy Central cancel Colbert? After igniting outrage over an insensitive Twitter post, angry Tweeters are calling for "The Colbert Report" to be taken off the air. The show's host, Stephen Colbert, is claiming he didn't write the post. It has since been removed from the show's page.

The trailer for the comedy flick, "Let's Be Cops," starring New Girl's Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr., debuted this week. Walking the carpet at Cinema Con in Las Vegas, the actors said their sitcom co-stars couldn't be happier about their success.

And that's your Entertainment Update.
