Mighty Mo Brews Beers & Gives Back

Posted: Updated:

In the four short months the Mighty Mo Brewing Company has been in business, a lot of big changes have happened, because when the people ask for something, Mighty Mo Answers.

"What the public's asking for, we try to find that newest thing , that newest type and style of beer that they want and see if they like it," said Seth Swingley, Co-Owner of Mighty Mo.

It all starts in their own brewery, but you need something to munch on as well.  That's why they've added food like pizza and cheese sticks.  But in the end, it's all about the community.

"The big thing is we want to help revitalize downtown.  Downtown Great Falls is great and is only getting better," said Swingley.

Despite only being on the books for a few short months, Mighty Mo is already in the giving spirit.

"Breweries in Montana in general are big with the community and it's been real successful in places like Helena, Missoula where breweries do their community nights and give money back to the community," said Swingley.

That's why they're doing Raise a Pint night, where charities like March of Dimes can get a dollar per pint sold, and they couldn't be happier.

"I think it's outstanding.  Seth and his crew here at Mighty Mo have been very generous to us…it's mutually beneficial having him open his doors to us and let us have a gathering spot where our friends and our community can come in and we can both benefit at the end of the evening," said Beth Schmidt of the March of Dimes.

So whether you're raising a pint to charities or just enjoying some brew and pizza with your friends, Mighty Mo is quickly becoming an established part of downtown Great Falls.

ENTIAT, Wash. - A burn out operation is planned for Tuesday morning in an effort to establish a secure line in the bottom of the canyon where the Mills Canyon Fire is burning. Burning material rolling downhill and igniting spot fires on the north side of Swakane Canyon have caused concerns and indicate a vulnerability to a fire escape and repeatedly expose firefighters to very steep terrain and rolling material.
