Posted: Updated:
HELENA -

Governor Steve Bullock was in Helena this morning to present his Main Street Montana project. The main focus of the project is to help Montana's economic growth and sustainability by attracting new business to the state.

Governor Bullock's plan includes pillars such as building an educated workforce, increasing the promotion of Montana made products and exports, as well as creating reliable infrastructures for Montana businesses.

Governor Bullock made sure the people had a say in his new plan. Creating it following seven roundtables around the state as well as online surveys.

"I think it really is like any business that was looking at relocating or expanding," said governor Bullock. "The first thing that they would do is put together a business model. The state really hadn't done that in quite some time. So what we did was we worked with, it was main street businesses to labor leaders, to educators, economic development professionals, all across the state. And they all voluntary gave their time and effort to make sure what we put together is a plan we can work off of."
