"Twin Towers" Reunite - Former Townsend Star Signs with Carroll

Posted: Updated:

The Twin Towers are together again.

After playing a year of Junior College Basketball in Washington, former Townsend star Annie Anderson signed a letter of intent to continue her collegiate basketball career with Carroll. The 6'1" forward will join her High School teammate, 6'2" forward Baylee Watson.

Anderson and Watson, known as Townsend's "Twin Towers," lead the Bulldogs to a nearly spotless record in the 2012-13 season. Their only loss was to Fairfield in the Class B title game.

Anderson is just one of many talented bigs coming in for Carroll next year, as they have All-State Centers Michaela Dowdy (Capital) and Cassi Hashley (Glacier) on their way to join the Saints.

Head Coach Rachelle Sayers also announced that Spokane's Brittany Johnson (Ferris HS) signed a letter of intent to play at Carroll next year. Johnson averaged 14.3 points, 5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.8 steals per game for Ferris.
