2-year-old St. Ignatius Boy Reported Missing

The state Justice Department has issued a missing and endangered child alert for a 2-year-old St. Ignatius boy.

Officials with the Flathead Tribal Police Department say Camas Assiniboine was reported missing at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. He was being cared for by his grandmother and was in custody of child protective services.

Tribal police say he was taken by his parents, 26-year-old Michael Assiniboine and 29-year-old Jessica Conko. Assiniboine is 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 240 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Conko is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 135 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Camas weighs about 30 pounds and has brown hair and eyes. He has 36 stitches on the front of his head.
