Growing up just outside of Cleveland, Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie, Jake is excited to explore everything the great state of Montana has to offer!

Jake joined KFBB as the Helena sports reporter in January of 2014 following a stint working in Cleveland at Fox 8 News as a photographer and editor. Prior to that he attended the University of Toledo and graduated with a degree in Communication. While in college Jake interned at 13 ABC in Toledo in the sports department where he learned hard work can come with a little bit of fun!

Jake is a diehard Cleveland sports fan (Go Browns, Tribe, and Cavs!)! His fondest childhood memories are of spending summer nights with his dad at Jacobs Field (now Progressive Field) watching the Tribe and telling everyone that it was "his field." Cleveland sports will always be important to Jake because of his love for the underdog. Growing up in Cleveland, he's seen his fair share of sports related heart break, but that makes him a bigger fan today, just waiting for Cleveland to come out on top. (It's got to happen eventually!)

Always a fan of the different kind of story, if you have anything you'd like to share with Jake in regards to a story or just to get his not so bashful opinion on the world of sports, feel free to email him at Jake.Jones@CowlesMontana.com, follow him on Twitter, and be sure to like him on Facebook.
