Colbert will be taking over for David Letterman, Heigl sues a big drug-store chain and Divito will be brightening up Philadelphia, in this Entertainment Update.

Stephen Colbert will be staying up late in 2015. CBS announced, Thursday, the comedian has officially signed on to replace David Letterman on "The Late Show" when the legendary host retires next year.

At the FX Upfront Event in New York, Wednesday, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" star, Danny Devito explained why fans could be seeing a lot more of him when the show's 10th season starts this September.

Katherine Heigl has a drug store problem. The "Grey's Anatomy" actress slapped pharmacy chain, Duane Reed, with a $6 million lawsuit, saying the store used her image for advertising without her consent. If she wins, Heigl plans to donate the proceeds to charity.

And the first trailer for Zach Braff's kickstarter-funded indie dramedy, "Wish I Was Here" is out. Braff stars alongside Kate Hudson and Mandy Patinkin as a struggling actor, husband and father searching for life's meaning. The flick hits theaters July 18th.

And that's your Entertainment Update.
