Easter is around the corner, and the sporting goods store Scheels is helping kids in the community get ready for Easter egg hunts on Easter Sunday next weekend.
Kids got a chance to search the store for Easter eggs filled with candy and even color eggs. The staff at Scheels wanted to put on an Easter event that was fun and inclusive for all the kids in the community and not just an event for only their kids club.
"It's all about the kids, we try and get out in the community as much as we can. Doing free events for the kids, it's a great opportunity for people that sometimes can't always come during the week to kids club, but come on Sunday and have an Easter egg hunt," says Tyler Hentzen.
This year Easter Sunday falls later than it usually does. Easter will be on the 20th, the reason for the late start just happens to be coincidental that the Christian holiday falls on that Sunday.
