After his reported role in a November shooting in Great Falls, the suspect who was believed to have shot a sixteen year old girl over what was initially believed to be a drug deal gone wrong has changed his plea to three charges today.
Trevor Bishop this morning pleading no contest to two felony charges of assault with a weapon and a felony charge of tampering with evidence in connection with the November shooting. Bishop while entering his pleas admitted information in the police affidavit as fact and also admitted to aiming the handgun at the victim before shooting her in the leg.
Bishop faces up to fifty years in prison. His sentencing date is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28th.
