Siren Test Scheduled for Yellowstone County

Posted: Updated:

As part of Severe Weather Awareness week the warning sirens in Yellowstone County will be tested. That will happen Wednesday at 6 PM. The sirens will sound for one minute in Billings, Lockwood, Laurel, Broadview, Custer, Huntley, Shepherd and Worden.

The Department of Emergency Services says it's a good time for everyone to think about what they would do in the event of a real emergency.

The sirens are tested twice a year; they are also tested in the fall.
