Sheriff's Deputy Charged With DUI Loses Job

The Cascade County sheriff's deputy, who was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence, has lost his job.

Human Resources Director Dewey Goering says Matt Darlington is no longer a county employee, but he could not say anything else about the situation.

Darlington was pulled over for a routine traffic stop by the Great Falls police department just before midnight on March 28th and was arrest for driving under the influence.

Darlington pleaded not guilty to the charge at a March 31st Municipal Court hearing.
