UGF, Carroll and MSU-Northern Golfers make All-Conference

Commissioner Kent Paulson announced the 2013-14 Frontier Conference Men’s All-Conference Golf team today. Daniel Thompsett of regular season champion Rocky Mountain College was named Player of the Year. James Walkinshaw of Lewis-Clark State was named the Freshman of the Year and Rocky Mountain’s Aaron Pohle was named Coach of the Year. The all-conference team is determined by the results of the league’s tournaments; the top five golfers receive first team honors, the second five receive second team honors. Players listed alphabetically. Lewis-Clark State, Rocky Mountain College, Carroll College and Westminster College each had two players earning all-conference honors. Players listed alphabetically.

On the women's side, for the second year in a row, Lewis-Clark State senior Heather Bruce was named Player of the Year. The all-conference team is determined by the results of the league’s tournaments; the top five golfers receive first team honors, the second five receive second team honors. This year, there were two golfers with identical scores equalling six golfers earning first team honors. Carroll College’s Katie Goins was named Freshman of the Year and Rocky Mountain College head coach Aaron Pohle was named Women’s Coach of the Year. Lewis Clark State College had four all-conference selections followed by Rocky Mountain with three. Players are listed in alphabetical order.
