Posted: Updated:
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS - We now know the name of the 19-year old woman who was killed when her car went off the highway and into a creek in Meagher county.

The Meagher County Sheriff's Office saying that Aliva Stewart of Lewistown was the driver in the one car accident early Saturday morning on US Highway 89, about 25 miles from White Sulphur Springs.

Montana Highway Patrol says Stewart was driving southbound when she swerved into the northbound lane. When she overcorrected, her car went off the road and rolled into the ditch. Stewart was ejected from her vehicle as it rolled.

Investigators say Stewart was not wearing a seat belt, but do not believe alcohol or speed were factors.
