MSU-Northern Adds Vancouver Guard to Roster

Posted: Updated:
MSU-Northern announced the addition of Warren Edmondson to their Men's Basketball Roster. The Vancouver, WA native is transferring from Portland CC where is averaged 16.5 points per game, 2.78 assists per game and shot 41% from the three point line. Last year Edmondson helped Portland CC win their first ever NWAACC (Northwest Athletic Association of Community College) tournament championship.

“Warren has the capability to provide an instant impact," says Lights head coach Brad Huse. "He led his team to their first ever trip to what is essentially their National Tournament (NWAACC Tournament)…and then onto their National Championship run.  He is a very good guard at the two-spot who can also excel at the point position when needed. He is the type that makes many good plays happen in a variety of ways – he knows how to fill the stat line in a positive way.  From what I have seen, he is as good as it gets at finding and creating opportunities for your offense, and always being ready to capitalize on them.”

Edmondson was named 1st Team All-NWAACC in the Southern Region and 1st Team All-NWAACC Tournament team.

The Lights had five seniors on last year’s team that finished 23-9 overall, 11-5 and second place in the Frontier Conference, and earned their fourth trip in a row (five in six years) to the NAIA National Tournament.
