Big Brothers Big Sisters Could Use Your Vote

GREAT FALLS - The Great Falls chapter of the Big Brothers Big Sisters are asking for the communities help to receive a grant. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Great Falls is a finalist in a$25,000 grant award put on by the State Farm Neighborhood Campaign. The top 40 volunteer groups that gain the most votes on the State Farm Neighbor Assist Facebook page will win the grant money. Money that Big Brothers Big Sisters says could help the organization a lot.

"And over the last couple of years just due to cuts and Federal Grants and other fund raising and a steady decline in our local fund raiser, we have been operating out of those reserves for several years and so $25,000 is going to help to not only fill the reserves, it will help cut even for this year," says Great Falls Big Brothers Big Sister CEO, Tina Hoebelheinrich.

The voting will close on May 16 so folks have plenty of time to log on to State Farm Neighborhood Assists Facebook page and vote. You can go to this link right here: https://apps.facebook.com/sf_neighbor_assist/?fb_source=search&ref=br_tf
