Two Fatal Accidents Take Place Saturday

GREAT FALLS - Two fatal car accidents taking place Saturday in the Treasure State.

The first fatal accident happened near Lewistown at 5 am. The one vehicle accident occurred on Highway 87 at Mile Marker 96. A fifty-seven year old female was the victim in the rollover.  
According to Montana Highway Patrol, the driver was drifting and then corrected before overcorrecting and rolling several times off the road. The driver was ejected from the vehicle it is unknown if alcohol and speed were factors in the crash, that is still currently under investigation.

The second fatal accident took place this afternoon in Blaine County near Chinook. Details are very limited at this time, the only information Montana Highway Patrol is releasing at this time is that the accident occurred on Highway 66 and Mile Marker 31.   We will have more information as soon as it develops.
