Posted: Updated:
GREAT FALLS - Several weeks after pleading guilty to two felony assault with a weapon charges after a November shooting, Trevor Bishop, is in trouble again for something that allegedly occurred while in jail.

Bishop appeared in court today and faces a charge of assault on a peace officer after he reportedly punched and bit a detention officer. According to charging documents, a detention officer was trying to move Bishop to another part of the detention center when Bishop hid under a set of stairs. When the officer tried to subdue Bishop, he reportedly punched the officer twice and bit him, which required medical attention.

Bishop also reportedly yelled to the officer that he "had Hepatitis C, and I hope you get it."

Bond was set at $100,000.
